So, my friend _steve wrote about male pms on his blog (here). And didn't give me even a lick of credit for coming up with this theory. Therefore, I must present this theory to you in all its glory. (this post may be tmi... AND my dad will probably be reading this... hahahahaha, sorry daddy)

For those of you who are unaware, women who live or work in close proximity with each other for long amounts of time almost always end up on the same monthly cycle. There is no really known cause to this, though there are theories. One such theory incorporates the concept of "pherimones." This is the theory I am basing my theory upon. (can you base theories upon theories? sure, why not? in sarah-land, where I am queen, you can.)

This is my idea: Whatever it is that causes women to line up also affects men. If men had the "hardware" (if you will) to also line up in the same way, I think that they would. Seeing that they don't, however, they -do- line up in the ways that they are able.

Women all know (despite repeated denials from our male opponents) that most men (who live or work a lot with women) display moodiness for a few days once a month. This moodiness is best explained by the possibility that their emotions are being affected by whatever it is that causes women to "line up."

Therefore: Men display PMS which is rooted in the established fact that there is SOMEthing that influences other people about menstrual cycles.

There. That was my theory. Steve stole it. Shame on him!
