I am muddling through The Hobbit, but I just don't love it like I love the Ring trilogy. I hope that I finish it and look back and love it. Mom has never read LOTR, but only just The Hobbit, and she loves it. She never could get through the Ring, she thought it was too... wordy. I find the characters in The Hobbit underdeveloped and not as courageous or loveable as in the Lord of the Rings.
Thus ends my Tolkien thoughts for the day. *grin* Am I a geek or what?
