Conviction is a strange thing. Funny how something so painful can be so sweet at the same time.

I cannot even exactly pinpoint what I am all being convicted of~ perhaps the list is entirely too long.

I am mainly being convicted of the lack of self-control in my life. Do I even have any? Sometimes I wonder. I want the Lord to mold me into His image. I want to develop all of these good habits in my life, and I can't seem to develop any of them, no matter how hard I try.

This year is so good. So much better than last year in many respects. But with all new situations come new trials and new worries. My prayer life has been vibrant in terms of praying for others... but less vibrant when it comes to enjoying my Creator. My time management skills are getting great, but my prioritizing is less than stellar.

It is good to feel, even if it is the sharp pangs of feeling the inability to live for Christ in all I do, no matter how I strive. I would rather hurt than live in deadened apathy.
